Richard Tallen, son of the ex-Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen, is dead. Richard was ill and admitted at Cedar Crest Hospital Abuja; he passed on in the morning on Sunday.
The family has released a statement endorsing the rumors of his death, however the cause of his death was not specified. He had reportedly been put on oxygen in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Friday night.
Vom Old Boys’ Association: sympathy message
It was made official on the Vom Old Boys’ Association (VOBA) social page. VOBA happens to be Richard’s school and made the news available and consoled everybody. The group posted: “On a very sad note, we regret to announce the sudden demise of our member, Mr. Richard Adamu Tallen. May he rest in peace, Amen! May Light perpetual shine on him.”
Richard, 42, a Computer Science graduate from a university in the United States, is mourned by his wife and three children. Arrangements for burial will be arrived at by the family, and the announcement will be made in due course.
