She urged women to pursue careers and leadership, stating, “A woman can reach the top of her career if she puts in hard work.”
Falana, alongside Chief Lawrence Falade, Mrs. Folasade Alli, and other newly honored Senior Advocates, received recognition from Governor Biodun Oyebanji in celebration of Ekiti’s legal achievements.
She further expressed gratitude for the honor, saying, “We are glad that our state has recognized our worth,” calling it a motivation for younger generations to aim high.
Recognition as motivation for future generations
Falana’s fellow honoree, Mrs. Folasade Alli, encouraged Ekiti natives to excel, while Governor Oyebanji praised the hard work of the eight newly recognized SANs.
Furthermore she noted their accomplishments as inspiration for Ekiti’s next generation.
State Attorney General Dayo Apata highlighted the state’s legacy in producing legal leaders, saying, “In 1978, this journey began with Aare Afe Babalola, who was conferred with the SAN title. Moreover today, we have over 50 SANs in Ekiti State.”
