Assessments made by catholic bishops
The Catholic Bishops’ Conference delivered dire assessments during their first plenary session of 2025 in Abuja which seemed to reflect an antiquated reading material according to Onanuga.
Onanuga supported security gains by admitting that the security forces managed to eliminate thousands of criminals even though he acknowledged that governance problems persisted.
Security forces have successfully cleared around 8,000 electronic warfare combatants including bandits, armed robbers, Boko Haram terrorists and kidnappers during the past two years thus liberating more than 10,000 mostly female and child Nigerians from abductions.
Farmers have come back to cultivate their fields due to better security in the North-West and North-East regions thus contributing to greater food production and lowering essential commodity prices according to his statement.
During his speech he praised Tinubu for his leadership in providing economic stability through key sector sectoral improvements and strengthening foreign currency reserves.
The administration achieved improved trade balance together with strengthened foreign exchange reserves and milder inflation and currency appreciation against foreign currencies thanks to the launch of Dangote Refinery and NNPCL refineries in Port Harcourt and Warri.

According to Onanuga the administration launched youth-oriented projects which promote job creation and business startups.
The Tinubu administration understands youth’s essential role in developmental growth thus created programs to support employment opportunities while training and making use of innovative capabilities to raise productivity levels.
The creation of 3MTT, NATEP, LEEP, IDiCE, NiYA alongside the Nigerian Youth Investment Fund led to a targeted goal of obtaining over 10 million new jobs for young people according to him.
The report from Chatham House served as an example of international recognition toward the policies of the administration according to Onanuga.
Chatham’s housed praised the economic management
Last week Chatham House praised the economic management team headed by President Tinubu through their position as a United Kingdom International Affairs policy think tank. The government conducts necessary actions that will produce a prosperous and improved country despite the ongoing difficulties many Nigerians experience. The President Tinubu together with his team will persistently devote themselves to upholding their pledge of building a robust and stronger Nigerian nation for all citizens on behalf of their compatriots according to Onanuga.
