Federal Government authorities established March 31 Monday along with April 1 Tuesday 2025 as public holidays for Eid el-Fitr celebration.

 

Minister Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo expressed congratulations to Muslim believers for completing their spiritual fasting during Ramadan through his public declaration.

Dr. Magdalene Ajani through a statement quoted the minister who told the Muslim community to practice self-discipline along with compassion plus generosity and peace. The minister emphasized that society needs love and forgiveness and unity as key factors which create a harmonious environment together.

Calls for prayer and acts of kindness

During this celebration Dr. Tunji-Ojo urged people in Nigeria to make petitions for both national peace and stability along with prosperity. During this celebratory week the minister predicted that Muslims would unite to work together across all ethnic and religious boundaries.

Minister appealed to the citizens to maintain focused celebration and practice charity while showing compassion to disadvantaged people because this aligns with traditional Ramadan and Eid El-Fitrvalues.

Through his representation of the Federal Government Dr. Tunji-Ojo sent prayers to every Muslim in the country at this time to gain fortune and success with completion in their lives.
