Nigeria First Lady Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu recently urged the youths of the nation to be patient and continue to work hard and in unity waiting for President Bola Tinubu to provide enabling environment for them to unleash their talents.

Speaking during the inaugural convening of Elevate Africa: In her speech at The Africa We See in Abuja the First Lady stated that youths are one of the nation’s best resources and called on the youths to be diligent and compassionate.

Speakers at the event included wife of the Vice President, Nana Shettima where the wife of the Vice President, Oluremi Tinubu encouraged Nigeria youths and assured them that the present administration is working on many polities that will creat opportunities for youths.

Listing some of the programmes, Oluremi Tinubu pointed to the 3 Million Tech Talent Initiative and the National Youth Investment Fund to empower the young business owners and give them easy access to capital.

Also, she was able to mention the implementation of the National Student Loan Scheme as a way of enhancing the accessibility of young Nigerians to education.

The Nigerian youth continue to be one of our biggest resources, they are the future. Additionally The First Lady called on the youth to persevere and work hard, be kind to their fellow citizens, work in harmony and wait for their turn, she said. She told the audience that President Tinubu is stepping up efforts to make young Nigerians’ talents and hard work truly manifest.

The former President of Kosovo Atifete Jahjaga also spoke at the event comparing Africa with Kosovo and appealed to African countries to prove themselves and break free from the conventional perception of being a backward continent.

Jahjaga appreciated the initiative of Elevate Africa by the kind Courtesy of Ogiame Atuwatse III and his Queen, Olori Atuwatse III to change the face of Africa globally.

According to The Punch, Olori Atuwatse III emphasized that people should acknowledge Africa’s real place in the world. She mentioned that narratives often shape how people view the continent, and this is why projects such as Elevate Africa are needed to change the narrative.
