The action is a part of the party’s efforts to stay in power in these crucial areas and make sure it is prepared for the next election cycle.

Call for Transparency and Unity

However, the PDP urged all prospective candidates to contact the National Secretariat’s Directorate of Finance or the Directorate of Organization and Mobilization with any questions they may have about the fees involved.

Moreover, in his statement, Ologunagba urged all PDP leaders, members, and stakeholders to continue working together to fortify the party. As the party prepares for the 2025 elections, we encourage all members to work together to advance the party. He underlined, “This is a time for unity and commitment to the PDP’s mission of delivering good governance.”

In order to choose the party’s zonal leadership before the general elections in 2025, the next congresses are crucial for the PDP.  Furthermore, these congresses will be an important component of the party’s future political strategy since these leaders will be crucial in coordinating the party’s actions in their various areas.

Influence of the Elections of  2025

The PDP’s declaration coincides with the party’s 2025 election preparations, and the results of these zonal congresses may have an impact on the party’s prospects in different areas. Moreover securing strong and capable zonal leadership would be essential to the PDP’s national electoral aspirations as the general elections draw near.

The PDP wants to establish itself as a major political force in Nigeria by emphasizing openness, internal democracy, and active party member engagement. In order to keep the party organized and ready to face the upcoming political obstacles, the zonal congresses are a crucial component of this endeavor.
