Dr. Mohamed Ibn Chambas, African Union (AU) High Representative, described the Dangote Refinery as transformative for Africa’s economic future. On a recent visit to the 650,000 barrel per day refinery in Lagos, Chambas shared his views. He said the project could lift millions out of poverty by creating jobs and rejuvenating economies across the continent.

Tinubu’s leadership has been instrumental in providing a conducive environment for large-scale business projects like the Dangote Refinery. Furthermore, Chambas said this reflected a strong commitment to economic development and growth in Nigeria.
