President Bola Tinubu has called on Nigeria’s media professionals to prioritize truthfulness and integrity in their reporting, emphasizing the critical role they play in shaping national development.
Speaking at the All Nigerian Editors Conference in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Tinubu urged media stakeholders to be steadfast in their responsibility to inform the public with accuracy and transparency.

The conference, held under the theme “Economic Growth and Development Strategies in a Resource-Rich Country,” underscored the media’s significant influence on Nigeria’s progress.
Addressing attendees through the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, Tinubu reiterated the media’s pivotal role as “custodians of public perception,” responsible for guiding national discourse and promoting development.
